Passport and Identity Card

Requirements

  • The applicant’s most recent color passport-sized photo, taken in the last three months
  • Information from Internet banking, VISA, Master credit/debit cards, and American Express cards

Apply for an entry visa

When submitting the visa application, please have the following information available:

  • Properly filled-out and applicant-signed Form 14A (PDF, 445KB). The information provided in this form will serve as the foundation for the visa application. ICA may request that the form be submitted.
  • Completed and signed Form V39A (PDF, 191KB) by the local contact, if applicable
  • Recent passport-sized color photo of the applicant (taken within the last three months). For details on required photos, please refer to the Photo Guidelines.
  • A duplicate of the candidate’s passport bio-data page, valid for a minimum of six months from the date of entry into Singapore
  • Details for Internet banking, VISA, or Master credit/debit cards.

How to Request a Short-Term Visit Pass Extension

Online applications are required for all short-term visit passes. Applications submitted in person will not be accepted.

  • Travel information provided by the applicant, such as passport information and the Disembarkation/Embarkation (D/E) Card reference number
  • Please seek help on the ICA website if you are having trouble submitting an online application for an Extension of Short-Term Visit Pass.
  • Please use www.singpass.gov.sg to create a Singpass account if the person does not already have one.
  • If you are a foreigner with family ties and your immediate family members are citizens or permanent residents of Singapore, you will need to provide original supporting documentation to establish the relationship.
  • A Singaporean citizen or a permanent resident who is at least 21 years old and has a Singpass account is required if a local sponsor is needed to apply for an extension of a short-term visitor pass.
  • Payment is required for an application status that states “In-Principle Approval.”

SG Arrival Card

Before arriving in Singapore, you will need to complete an online form called the Singapore Arrival Card. This form requires you to provide the following information:

  • Personal details such as your name, nationality, and passport number.
  • Travel information, including your flight number and arrival time.
  • Details of your hotel, including the name and address.
